On November 11, within the framework of a working trip to Japan, a delegation from the University of Electric Power led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Chau - Rector of the University visited and worked at research, training and environmental monitoring centers in the field of nuclear energy in Fukui province.
At the Japan Atomic Power Company Training Center, the delegation was introduced to the nuclear power plant operation training model, simulation programs and operational safety assurance systems. The delegation also directly visited the laboratories and technical practice areas.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Chau shared the development orientation of the University of Electricity in training high-quality human resources in the electricity industry and wished to soon implement substantive cooperation between the two sides. Visit Fukui Prefectural Nuclear Power Center “At Home”
The delegation continued to work at the “At Home” Center – a place to promote, educate and disseminate knowledge about electricity and nuclear energy to the community. The Center applies many vivid visual experience methods, from simple experiments to simulation models, helping people – especially students – access scientific knowledge in a direct and easy-to-understand way.

At the Fukui Prefectural Nuclear Environmental Monitoring Center, the delegation was introduced to the system for continuous monitoring of environmental quality and radiation parameters in the area, to ensure community safety and early detection of environmental incidents if they occur.
The delegation visited the radiation monitoring equipment and field monitoring points. The representative of the Center sent greetings and highly appreciated the cooperation orientation of the University of Electricity. Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Van Chau, on behalf of the delegation, presented souvenirs and expressed the desire to promote professional exchanges in the field of environmental radiation monitoring and safety.
