Timeline of the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day

The Central Government assigned the Ministry of National Defense to preside over the organization of the parade, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi city and other ministries and sectors at Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2.

Regarding the foreign military bloc, it is expected that four countries will be invited: China, Russia, Laos and Cambodia. Currently, Laos and Cambodia have agreed to participate. For the remaining countries, the authorities will continue to coordinate.

For the sea parade forces, it will be held in Cam Ranh area (Khanh Hoa) at the same time as military vehicles and special police. "It will be broadcast live from the sea".

Regarding the program, after the groups parade through the stage, at the end of Hung Vuong Street, they will divide into routes through the streets to show their affection for the people. At the same time, cultural and artistic exchanges will be held at Quan Ngua Cultural Palace and Cach Mang Thang Tam Square (in front of the Opera House) to strengthen the bond between the forces and the people.

The general training session for armed forces takes place from 8:00 p.m. on August 21 and 24.

State-level preliminary review takes place from 8:00 p.m. on August 27.

State rehearsal at 6:30 on August 30.

The official ceremony will be at 6:30 a.m. on September 2. The venue will be at Ba Dinh Square.
