Event "Return to the sacred moment"

The sacred moment when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, was vividly recreated by VOV using virtual reality technology "Returning to the sacred moment". People can experience it for free at the National Broadcasting Center, 58 Quan Su and at the National Achievements Exhibition Center.

Taking place from August 19 to August 21 at the National Broadcasting Center, 58 Quan Su, Hanoi and from August 28 to September 5 at the Dong Hoi National Exhibition Center - Dong Anh, Hanoi.

At the exhibition “Socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day”, Voice of Vietnam (VOV) participated with a nearly 500m2 exhibition booth, located at the center of the Vietnam Exhibition, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city - one of the largest exhibition areas in Southeast Asia.

The exhibition “Returning to the sacred moment” organized by Voice of Vietnam will be open free of charge to welcome millions of Vietnamese hearts and international friends, so that millions of hearts can once again beat together.

The sacred moment of the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam is vividly recreated for the first time through the virtual reality technology exhibition "Returning to the sacred moment" of Voice of Vietnam, bringing viewers a realistic and emotional experience.

Just by stepping through the VR virtual reality technology gate, viewers will be "traveling through time, going back in time to stand at the exact place exactly 80 years ago when President Ho Chi Minh stood on the podium at Ba Dinh Square reading the Declaration of Independence, in a solemn, emotional atmosphere, bursting into applause and cheers from tens of thousands of compatriots, raising their hands to swear to protect the Fatherland.

The entire scene of Ba Dinh Square in 1945 is meticulously restored using advanced virtual reality (VR) technology. To participate in the experience, visitors will use Meta Quest VR glasses with the guidance of Professor, Dr. Vu Minh Giang.

The experiencer can freely move in the 360-degree virtual space, interact with gestures and words, and immerse themselves in a historical scene that has never been recreated so vividly.

The special thing about the experience is that viewers are actually standing among tens of thousands of compatriots, feeling the seething spirit of a nation rising up to gain independence, hearing each word of the Declaration, and raising their hands together to shout the oath to save the nation.

The exhibition “Returning to the sacred moment” is not only a creative content product that closely connects history and modern technology, but also a symbol of VOV's comprehensive innovation in its journey of transformation with the digital age.
