Thang Long-Hanoi Festival 2025
Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025 will be held in many heritage and creative spaces of the capital such as Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Hoan Kiem Lake, Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Hanoi Museum, and will take place for 16 days, from November 1 to November 16, 2025.
At the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam, visitors will experience a series of Heritage Convergence activities, displaying traditional craft products of the three capitals of Thang Long – Hue – Hoa Lu and the Central Highlands provinces from 8am to 9pm daily from November 1 to November 9; introducing Hanoi Flavors culinary culture and creative craft and design activities at Van Lake (operating from 9am to 9pm daily from November 1 to November 16).
In addition, the following programs will also take place: Ao Dai fashion show on the heritage road (November 2); Hanoi Thanh Tan painting exhibition from November 2 to November 16; Hanoi Oh art program from November 3; Heritage and future exhibition from November 3 to November 16; International scientific discussion on East-West educational and cultural heritage on November 3; Red River calling the great forest art program on November 8.
At the Hanoi Museum, the public will be able to visit the special exhibition Archaeological discoveries from the 2/11 Banana Garden relic and the Puppetry Performance Space, where folk puppetry is renewed through performances and interactive experiences. In particular, the highlight of the international art program Eternal Moment on November 8 will be the participation of Swiss composer Dominique Barthassat and creative community groups in Hanoi.
Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025 brings together more than 30 unique cultural, artistic and tourism activities during 16 days:
The 4th annual Hanoi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2025 will be held from November 7-9, 2025 at the Hanoi Museum and Hoan Kiem Lake area with many activities honoring the beauty of traditional Ao Dai associated with the cultural and tourism values of the Capital.
Hanoi Puppetry Festival (November 15) and Discussion "Preserving and promoting puppetry art heritage in contemporary life" November 10.
Thang Long Capital Show (November 10 at Thang Long Imperial Citadel) and Ngoc Son Mysterious Night Show November 8 & 16, Ngoc Son Temple.
