
Organizing the National Residential Area Mass Arts Festival
The National Residential Area Mass Arts Festival takes place from November 15 to 19 in An Giang province. The event is a major festival to honor the grassroots cultural movement, spread the spirit of solidarity and Vietnamese cultural identity.
The festival aims to propagate and mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; strengthen social consensus and the people's active response, especially in the reorganization of administrative units and the implementation of the 2-level local government model. At the same time, deploy the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" with depth, quality, efficiency and practicality; create positive changes in building cultural families, villages, agencies and units, comprehensively developing Vietnamese people and building an advanced Vietnamese culture with strong national identity.
Through the festival, we contribute to honoring typical residential areas and groups and individuals who actively participate in the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", carry out campaigns, patriotic emulation movements and social security activities in residential communities, contributing to socio-economic development, maintaining national security and defense; arousing cultural traditions, the spirit of national solidarity, and firmly building a rich, beautiful and civilized country.
The festival is also an opportunity for cultural villages, hamlets and neighborhoods to meet, exchange, learn experiences, exchange good practices and effective measures in implementing the movement to build cultural villages, hamlets and neighborhoods. From there, we can replicate advanced examples, models, good practices and creativity of typical cultural residential areas; encourage mass cultural and artistic movements at the grassroots level; preserve and promote traditional cultural values and promote the Movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" to become more and more practical and effective.
The two competitions of the Festival include: The competition "Shining Journey - Connecting residential culture" with the content of introducing typical examples of individuals or groups in the movements: The whole people unite to build a cultural life, join hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, preserve and promote national cultural identity in residential areas.
The Arts Competition is a comprehensive art program of singing, dancing, music, and scenic singing, including the following genres: singing, dancing, and music. The troupes perform art performances choosing at least 2 of the Singing - Dancing - Music genres such as: singing, dancing, accompanying dance, scenic singing, chanting, folk songs, lullabies, folk songs, and performing musical instruments with local characteristics. Each troupe stages at least 5 performances.
