Exhibition 'From the era of independence and national unification to the era of national growth'

The exhibition with the theme 'From the era of independence and national unification to the era of national rise' takes place from August 19 to September 5 at Nguyen Hue walking street.

The exhibition is one of the city's activities towards the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The organizers displayed more than 100 photos with the theme: "From the era of independence and national unification to the era of national rise". The photo series summarizes the developments of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the history of our nation's struggle to build and defend the country.

Also during the historic autumn days, on the morning of August 25, 1945, more than 1 million people from Saigon -Cho Lon and neighboring provinces rushed into the inner city with a seething revolutionary spirit. The victory of the uprising in Saigon had a decisive significance for the uprising in the remaining provinces in the South.

Continuing the spirit of the August Revolution, together with the Party Central Committee and the Government, President Ho Chi Minh led our entire army and people to successfully carry out two great resistance wars against invaders, gain national independence, and lead the whole country to build socialism from the spring of 1975.

After the country's reunification, inheriting, applying and promoting the spirit of uprising of the August Revolution and the resistance wars to liberate the nation and defend the Fatherland, our entire Party, army and people have achieved outstanding achievements in all fields.
