Exhibition "Forever the Triumphant Song"

The thematic exhibition “Forever the Triumphant Song” takes viewers back to the past with the heroic and emotional atmosphere when the army marched to Hanoi to take over the capital. The exhibition takes place from October 2, 2025 to November 6, 2025 .

The exhibition was organized by the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Management Board to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025). Unforgettable historical memories were vividly and emotionally recreated, bringing viewers back to the heroic history of the Capital Liberation Day more than 7 decades ago.

The exhibition "Forever the Triumphant Song" includes three contents: Perseverance and perseverance; Hanoi - The Day of Victory; The Scent and Colors of Hanoi. At the Hoa Lo Prison relic site, the public can also watch a scene vividly recreating the jubilant and bustling atmosphere when the people of the capital eagerly welcomed the victorious army returning on the day of the Capital's Liberation.

An important part of the exhibition recalls images of the first days of the struggle of the army and people of the Capital against the French colonialists in December 1946, responding to President Ho Chi Minh's call for national resistance. With rudimentary weapons but indomitable spirit, the people of the Capital turned every house and street corner into a fortress, holding the enemy for 60 historic days and nights. In the fierce fire and smoke, the suicide soldiers of the Capital Regiment did not fear sacrifice, ready to hug three-pronged bombs and rush into tanks, keeping their oath "Determined to die for the Fatherland".

The contents of the exhibition "The Scent of Hanoi" are images of Hanoi today that still shine with the beauty of the harmony between the ancient and the modern, between tradition and dynamic life. Craft villages, cultural heritages, historical memories contribute to creating a profound and rich capital. Today's generation of Hanoians continues their ancestors, preserving and promoting thousand-year values, building the capital worthy of the title "Heroic Capital", "City for Peace".

The special exhibition "Forever the Triumphant Song" at Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site is a tribute to those who have fallen for the Fatherland. More than seven decades after Liberation Day, Hanoi has continued to rise, spreading the message of peace and friendship, continuing to write brilliant golden pages of history.
