EVNGENCO3 deploys 2 emergency support rounds in the Central Highlands

EVNGENCO3 mobilized its affiliated units EPS, Phu My Thermal Power Plant, Vinh Tan, Buon Kuop Hydropower Plant, Ba Ria and Vinh Son - Song Hinh to deploy 2 emergency support rounds.

Faced with the devastation caused by storms and floods in the Central and Central Highlands regions, Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3) mobilized forces from its affiliated units including EPS Company, Phu My Thermal Power Plant, Vinh Tan Thermal Power Plant, Buon Kuop Hydropower Plant, Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company and Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company (affiliated units located in the area) to deploy two emergency support rounds.

In particular, the forces directly went to the affected localities to restore low-voltage power systems, indoor electricity, repair civil infrastructure, schools, medical stations, damaged houses, visit and give gifts, and support social security for affected local people. At the same time, organize donations and support costs for localities to rebuild after storms and floods. The total amount of support from EVN GENCO3 for localities is more than 7 billion VND.

Specifically, in the first phase (from November 11 to 15, 2025), EVNGENCO3 mobilized forces from its affiliated units to Phu Mo and Dong Xuan communes (Dak Lak), De Gi commune (Gia Lai) and Duc Pho ward and Sa Huynh ward (Quang Ngai) to support cleaning, refurbishing, checking, and replacing electrical systems, fans, light bulbs, and power lines at 7 schools that were flooded during storms; supporting electricity repairs for medical stations, communes, wards, and disadvantaged households.

At the same time, 10,000 notebooks and 1,000 pens were donated, funding was provided to repair schools and classrooms, 160 scholarships (VND 500,000/scholarship) were awarded to disadvantaged students, 800 gifts (VND 1 million/scholarship) were given to severely damaged households, and house repair costs were supported for 10 households whose roofs were blown off or whose houses were severely damaged.

In Song Cau ward (Dak Lak), the volunteer group of Buon Kuop Hydropower Company coordinated with the Working Group of Dak Lak Electricity Company to focus on handling damage to low-voltage power lines and repairing electricity in homes to help people in the ward have electricity again soon. The total cost of support in the first phase is more than 1.625 billion VND.

In the second phase (from November 25 to November 29, 2025), EVNGENCO3 continued to organize working groups to directly visit and give gifts to families in difficult circumstances, whose houses were deeply flooded and severely damaged by floods in Tuy Phuoc Dong commune (Gia Lai), Hoa Xuan and Hoa Thinh communes (Dak Lak), D'Ran commune (Lam Dong) including 800 cash gifts (VND 500,000/gift), 800 gifts of necessities, medical medicines, blankets, waterproof clothes, 350 solar lights, 16 generators, other necessary items and 200 0.5 liter drinking water tanks, 1,000 20 liter water bottles produced by Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company and supported by transportation to localities.

At the same time, the shock troops actively supported people in cleaning houses, schools, clinics, and repairing electricity for more than 200 families in heavily flooded communes whose electrical systems were damaged. The total amount of support for the second phase was more than 2.4 billion VND.

Also during this time, member units and associated companies of the Corporation (Phu My Thermal Power Company, EPS Company, Buon Kuop Hydropower Company, Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company, Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company, Se San 3A Power Investment and Development Joint Stock Company ) also mobilized and collected donations from employees and presented them to Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Lam Dong provinces with a total amount of nearly 2 billion VND.

In addition, EVNGENCO3 representatives also directly visited and presented 1 billion VND to EVNCPC to encourage the team working at the site and encouraged and presented 50 million VND to Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Joint Stock Company to support employees to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

In addition to the support of the Corporation, the working groups also received and presented gifts and contributions from benefactors and employees who donated more to the people in the flood areas. The timely, practical and direct support of the EVNGENCO3 Working Groups and units immediately after the storm and flood was acknowledged and deeply thanked by the local authorities and people.

The enthusiastic and responsible working spirit, not afraid of difficulties and hardships of the youth, workers, engineers, and laborers of EVNGENCO3 in particular and the electricity industry in general are practical contributions to help local people soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
