Da Nang Police fanpage interface attracts hundreds of thousands of followers

On the afternoon of November 12, at a conference to evaluate the results of propaganda work on cyberspace, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Xuan Nam, Head of the Internal Political Security Department - Da Nang City Police, said that the fanpage "Da Nang Police" has just reached the milestone of more than 302,000 followers, becoming one of the most effective electronic information pages of the local police force in the country.

In just over 4 months (from July 1 to now, after merging the old Quang Nam Provincial Police and Da Nang City Police), the information channel system under the Steering Committee 35 of the Da Nang City Police Party Committee has edited and posted more than 96,000 propaganda news and articles.

The fanpage “Da Nang Police” alone posted more than 2,000 news and articles, attracting 122.3 million views, of which more than 67% came from people who did not follow the page, showing outstanding accessibility and strong spread.

Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police, informed at the conference.

The posted content such as helping people in storms and floods, solving crimes quickly, rescue, good people doing good deeds... always achieves high interaction rates, demonstrating the effectiveness of visual, humane and close-to-people communication. In particular, many videos are carefully invested, using the voices of officers and soldiers of the Internal Political Security Department combined with AI technology to help increase attractiveness and spread positive information.

At the conference, Colonel Nguyen Dai Dong, Deputy Director of Da Nang City Police, highly appreciated the creative, disciplined and effective working spirit of Steering Committee 35 and the Internal Political Security Department in developing the fanpage "Da Nang Police" into an official and reputable information channel, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the police force in the hearts of the people.
