FPT has received AI management certification according to ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standards.

FPT has been certified to meet ISO/IEC 42001:2023 – the first global standard for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Management Systems.

The ceremony to awardFPT the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification recently took place in Hanoi.

With this milestone, FPT becomes the first enterprise in Vietnam and the second in Southeast Asia to achieve this certification, affirming its commitment to developing and deploying AI responsibly, ensuring fairness and objectivity, respecting privacy and data security, meeting requirements for safety, quality and compatibility with system changes, along with principles of governance, transparency and accountability.

The certification is issued by SGS, a world leader in testing, inspection, and certification – accredited by the National Accreditation Board (ANAB) of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard outlines specific requirements from the establishment, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of an AI management system, thereby helping organizations effectively manage AI-related risks and opportunities while balancing innovation and regulatory compliance.

Meeting the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard demonstrates FPT's capabilities in systematic and comprehensive AI governance, encompassing aspects such as ethics, risk management, transparency, compliance, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and social values. This provides a foundation for FPT to continue affirming its role as a reputable technology partner for global organizations, especially in tightly regulated sectors such as finance and banking, automotive technology, healthcare , energy, and the public sector.
