SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025 is jointly organized by the National Innovation Center ( Ministry of Finance ) and the Semiconductor Association (SEMI). The event, themed “Promoting Vietnam’s Semiconductor Aspirations,” aims to highlight Vietnam’s rapid progress in the global semiconductor supply chain.
The event is expected to attract 5,000 delegates and nearly 200 exhibition booths, including leading technology corporations, universities, and industrial parks from around the world. It will bring together the biggest names in the industry such as ASML, Samsung, Amazon, Lam Research, Tokyo Electron, Coherent, Amkor, Micron, Cadence, Qualcomm, Intel, along with key Vietnamese organizations and businesses likeFPT .

Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang - Director of FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company, FPT Group, receives the award.
Within the framework of the event, FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company, FPT Group, was awarded the Vietnam Semiconductor Distinguished Industry Award 2025 , recognizing the contributions of Vietnamese enterprises in chip design and the development of comprehensive semiconductor solutions. The award is a testament to the vision, capabilities, and unwavering commitment of FPT Group in its journey to make Vietnam a new bright spot on the global semiconductor map – where Vietnamese intelligence, creativity, and technology reach the world stage.
In addition, FPT showcased its semiconductor ecosystem with the message "Unleashing Creativity – Innovating the Future." This is a complete semiconductor ecosystem, closely connecting all links from human resource training, integrated circuit design, packaging, testing to product commercialization, aiming to make Vietnam a new semiconductor technology hub in the region. FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company, FPT Group, introduced chip lines designed and developed 100% by Vietnamese engineers, including Power Management ICs, Analog ICs, and LED Drivers – which are already applied in many fields such as IoT devices, industrial electronics, automobiles, and smart healthcare.

FPT showcased its semiconductor ecosystem with the message: Unleashing Creativity – Innovating the Future - Powering Your Next Innovation.
FPT also shares a long-term vision towards mastering advanced packaging and testing technology, gradually completing Vietnam's semiconductor value chain with the support of reputable partners providing advanced equipment such as Quantel.
In the field of human resources, FPT Group is actively working towards the goal of training 10,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030, contributing to the national target of training 50,000 engineers. Training programs developed by FPT and its leading global semiconductor partners adhere to international standards, combined with domestic and international lecturers and experts, enabling students to gain early access to real-world projects and modern technology, preparing them to participate in the global value chain.
FPT Group has also developed the MIVO solution, a 1:1 simulation of a chip manufacturing cleanroom, allowing trainees to practice operating semiconductor equipment such as lithography machines and probe stations in a completely safe virtual environment. This application helps reduce risks, save costs, and standardize and expand the scale of semiconductor engineer training for universities and businesses, contributing to improving the quality of human resources and promoting the sustainable development of Vietnam's semiconductor industry.
