FPT Play owns the copyright of the English Premier League in Vietnam

With the orientation of developing high-quality sports content to bring to audiences nationwide,FPT Play officially became the copyright owner of the English Premier League broadcasting and media in Vietnam starting from January 1, 2026. This period will last from the middle of the 2025/2026 season to the end of the 2030/31 season, on infrastructures including terrestrial television, cable, satellite, IPTV, Internet, mobile, public screening rights and exploitation on social networks...

Thus, Premier League fans in Vietnam continue to join 1.87 billion viewers around the world , uninterruptedly enjoying thousands of top football matches. Of which, there are nearly 200 matches in the 2025/26 season and 1,900 matches in the 5 seasons from 2026/27 to 2030/31. All these matches will be broadcast by FPT Play on multiple platforms with professional Vietnamese commentary. In which, many matches are produced with vivid 4K image quality.

To carry out this copyright deal, FPT Play has entered into a strategic partnership with Jasmine International Public Company Limited (JAS) and Monomax, the official and exclusive owner of the broadcasting rights of the English Premier League in the markets of Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. This milestone marks a major step forward for JAS and Monomax in expanding the scope of broadcasting rights ownership to the Vietnamese market.

Sharing on the occasion, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Telecom, FPT Corporation - said: “The Premier League is one of the few football tournaments that has been around for a long time and has the most influence in Vietnam. Notably, the event of FPT Play owning the copyright of the Premier League took place successfully after Chelsea FC, one of the symbols of the tournament, announced the establishment of a global partnership with FPT Corporation in April 2025. Mr. Hoang Viet Anh also said that the two events left their mark in different areas of FPT Corporation (digital transformation technology and television copyright). All contributed to creating a comprehensive, complementary impact, helping FPT Play continue to get closer to customers nationwide.
