FPT and NovaGroup cooperate comprehensively, pioneering in building an AI ecosystem in Vietnam

(Chinhphu.vn) - On December 8, in Ho Chi Minh City, FPT Corporation and NovaGroup signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to enhance business efficiency, seek development opportunities in science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, and consider the possibility of providing each other with products and services.

Under the cooperation framework, FPT and NovaGroup will jointly build an AI Competence Center.

According to the agreement, FPT will be a strategic partner in consulting and implementing comprehensive digital transformation for NovaGroup, focusing on the fields of AI, big data, IoT and automation, to optimize operations, improve customer experience and promote sustainable growth. Building an AI Competency Center and implementing comprehensive digital transformation:

Under the cooperation framework, FPT and NovaGroup will jointly build an AI Center of Excellence - a place to research, develop and disseminate technological capabilities throughout the entire NovaGroup ecosystem.

The two sides will jointly identify priority problems in applying technology in business, marketing, organizational management, operations, finance - investment and customer care, thereby deploying AI solutions in marketing, supply chain management, customer care, supporting executive decision making and improving customer experience.

Accompanying the development of smart cities, 4.0 agriculture and green tourism

FPT and NovaGroup will develop infrastructure and digital platforms for smart urban areas, deploy centralized management systems, energy monitoring, operations management and smart resident connections.

In the smart real estate (PropTech) segment, the two sides aim to apply metaverse, blockchain and customer data platform (CDP) to increase transparency, enhance experience and personalize services.

At the same time, the two sides also cooperate in applying IoT and AI in agriculture 4.0, traceability using blockchain, as well as deploying AR/VR platforms in digital tourism and the program "Nova Digital Future" - a creative community project towards sustainable development.

Training and developing digital human resources - the core for AI strategy - First

A key content of the agreement is training and developing digital human resources. FPT and NovaGroup will coordinate to build and implement training programs for NovaGroup leaders and staff on AI-First strategy, digital management, data and innovation.

The two sides will organize research and development pilot programs and support NovaGroup in building a strong internal technology team for long-term transformation projects. This is considered a foundation to help NovaGroup form digital capacity from within, ensuring the sustainability of the transformation journey.

Connecting the data ecosystem – expanding value for Vietnamese users

In the next phase, FPT and NovaGroup plan to connect the customer ecosystem and Nova Membership program with FPT's digital platform, helping users accumulate points, make payments and experience flexible services across the entire product chain - from real estate, consumption to education and tourism.

In fact, NovaGroup has been strongly implementing digital transformation for many years, especially since 2025 with programs to standardize the entire system of operating processes and build a digital enterprise management platform. The Group has developed and applied digital technology in internal management activities, while upgrading core business systems including digital sales platforms, customer care systems and smart operation applications in real estate projects.

For example, at Aqua City - a riverside ecological urban area developed by Novaland Group, a smart camera system including nearly 2,000 cameras using artificial intelligence (AI) for 24/7 monitoring has been applied, combined with a smart sensor system and a professional security team. This system is capable of intelligent traffic management, facial recognition and warning of security risks such as traffic violations, lost children, or accidents in the swimming pool area.

In addition, Nova Consumer Group also initially launched the Nova AI Mall digital supermarket, the first AI-powered livestream sales ecosystem in Vietnam, aiming to support businesses in accessing advanced sales technology. Most recently, in June 2025, NovaGroup coordinated with FPT University to organize the "AI - Mindset: Businesses adapt to the AI ​​wave" workshop exclusively for more than 1,700 employees to attend.

Novaland Group has applied the smart city model in management and operation with the highlight being the security utility system at Aqua City.
