Vietnam women's futsal friendly with China to prepare for SEA Games 33

In order to best prepare for the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese women's futsal team has been training in Hangzhou (China) since November 27. This is a key stage for the coaching staff to evaluate performance, perfect tactics and choose the optimal lineup before entering the regional tournament.

Immediately after arriving in Hangzhou on the morning of November 28 and settling down, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang and his team had their first training session in the afternoon of the same day.

In this training session, the Vietnamese women's futsal team has a total of 16 athletes. Of which, 2 players have just been added, "Vietnam Golden Ball 2024" Tran Thi Thuy Trang and K'Thua, after competing with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club in the group stage of the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League Women's.

During their time in Hangzhou, the Vietnamese women's futsal team will have two international friendly matches with the Chinese women's futsal team on November 30 and December 5.

This is an important opportunity for the whole team to practice, improve the competition pace and test tactical options before the 33rd SEA Games.

Sharing about the recent domestic training session, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang said: "The coaching staff is very satisfied with the spirit and seriousness of the whole team in each training session. The team played two friendly matches domestically with good results and executed the tactical goals relatively effectively."

Regarding the goal of the training trip in China, coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang emphasized: "This is an opportunity to evaluate the preparation process of the whole team, improve the playing ability of each player and choose the best squad for the SEA Games.

Because we will face many difficulties because all teams have made a lot of progress. The whole team will try to compete in each match, strive to change the color of the medal, and aim for the highest achievement."

Vietnam and Thailand meet in the final of SEA Games 33

At the 33rd SEA Games, the Vietnamese women's futsal team - the reigning runner-up - is in Group B with Indonesia and Myanmar.

Reigning women's futsal champions Thailand are in Group A with Malaysia and the Philippines. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
