Nearly 3,500 high school students in Da Nang participated in the technology festival.

DNO - On the morning of January 18th, FPT University (FPTU) held its Big Open Day 2026 event in Da Nang, attracting nearly 3,500 students from high schools across the city.

This is the first time the Big Open Day series has been simultaneously implemented at 5FPT University campuses nationwide, including Hanoi, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho, giving high school students the opportunity to directly experience and learn about the latest technologies.

Students get to experience the Tech Cafe model, where attendees can enjoy coffee while interacting with robots playing chess, intelligent robot dogs, or watching an art printer print images onto coffee cups.

High school students also participate in classes on AI and semiconductor chips, and receive direct instruction from lecturers to experience AR, AI, VR glasses, PS5 consoles, etc.

Notably, the ReHistoria application – an outstanding student graduation project that recreates history through digital technology – was presented as an example of how technology can be applied to create innovative products.

Besides technology, FPTU Big Open Day 2026 showcases academic products, projects, and creative activities of students as part of the experiential journey.
