Nearly 5,000 farmers dialogue with Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee

With the theme "Supporting farmers to develop sustainable agriculture to adapt to climate change", the Conference of the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to dialogue with farmers in 2025 had the participation of nearly 5,000 farmers, cooperatives and cooperatives.

In particular, the conference had nearly 5,000 farmers representing 348,600 farmer members, cooperatives, cooperatives, and farms in the province attending at connecting points in the province.

The head of the provincial People's Committee emphasized that after the merger, Lam Dong has many advantages, including agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The province identifies agriculture, rural areas and farmers as important sectors, the pillars of the economy.

However, in recent times, the agricultural production sector in the area has remained fragmented and small-scale, lacking the linkages to attract large corporations. The issue of digital transformation in agriculture has not been drastic and has been slow. This requires a change in thinking, improving production capacity and strengthening linkages.

Nearly 5,000 farmers attended the dialogue at the main bridge and bridges in communes, wards, and special zones.

Lam Dong identifies farmers as the center of the transition to green, circular and smart agriculture. The Provincial People's Committee is implementing many programs and policies towards rapid and strong development in this field.
