TPO - The 4th Hue Yellow Apricot Blossom Festival opened at the Nghênh Lương Đình - Phu Văn Lâu area, next to the Perfume River, showcasing nearly 500 unique yellow apricot blossom works, marking the beginning of Hue City's spring festival series for the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

The festival was organized within the framework of the project "Building Hue into the land of golden apricot blossoms of Vietnam," linked to the orientation of the four-season Hue Festival, aiming to honor the cultural, ecological, and aesthetic values of Hue's yellow apricot blossoms - a flower that has long been associated with the spiritual life of the people of the ancient capital. According to the organizers, the apricot blossom is not only a flower that heralds spring, but also a symbol of Hue's way of life, embodying elegance, resilience, sophistication, and rich cultural depth. The festival, lasting 10 days, marks the beginning of Hue City's Spring Festival activities. At the Nghênh Lương Đình - Phu Văn Lâu exhibition space, the organizers are showcasing nearly 500 Hue apricot blossom trees , including ancient apricot trees, large apricot trees, and meticulously crafted bonsai works. Each piece is considered the culmination of time, dedication, and talent from artisans and gardeners from the Hue Imperial Apricot Blossom Associations, reflecting the art of apricot blossom cultivation , patience, and love for the ancient capital city.

Besides the exhibition, the festival also features many diverse programs such as the "Hue Imperial Apricot Blossom - A Masterpiece of Spring " competition, exchanges of experience in planting, caring for, and shaping apricot blossoms; an auction of Hue Imperial Apricot Blossoms; a lucky draw, etc.

This will create a professional platform for artisans and gardeners, while also contributing to the connection between culture and tourism , making Hue's apricot blossom a distinctive product associated with the experiences of tourists visiting Hue.

The Hue Apricot Blossom Festival is not only for apricot blossom enthusiasts but also an attractive destination for tourists from near and far during Tet (Lunar New Year). In the days leading up to the Year of the Horse, strolling along the Perfume River and stopping at the Phu Van Lau - Nghenh Luong Dinh historical site, visitors can fully experience a unique Hue spring, where the golden apricot blossoms blend with the slow pace of life and the distinctive cultural atmosphere of this heritage city.

The 4th Hue Yellow Apricot Blossom Festival - Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026 is expected to continue spreading the "Yellow Apricot Blossoms in Front of the Gate" movement, contributing to building the image of Hue - the city of flowers in all four seasons, and gradually realizing the goal of making Hue the land of yellow apricot blossoms in Vietnam.
