Nearly 60 works won the National Press Award for the Cause of Vietnamese Education 2025

Of the more than 800 entries to the 2025 National Press Award for Vietnam Education, the Organizing Committee selected 82 entries for the final round. From these entries, the Final Round Council proposed 4 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 12 third prizes, 32 consolation prizes and 2 outstanding figures.

On the afternoon of November 12, the Ministry of Education and Training held a press conference to summarize the National Press Award for Vietnam Education 2025.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Duc Loi - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee, Chairman of the Final Jury emphasized that 2025 marks the 8-year journey of the National Press Award for the Cause of Vietnamese Education being launched and maintained, becoming a beautiful symbol of the connection between journalism and education - a place to honor humanistic values, spread faith and aspiration for innovation throughout society.

Mr. Loi said that the award has attracted more than 800 entries in 4 types of journalism: Print, Electronic, Radio and Television. Besides the central press agencies, many localities, from mountainous areas, islands to remote areas, have contributed their voices and breath of life to the vivid picture of Vietnamese education .

As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 82 works for the final round. From these works, the Final Round Council proposed 4 First Prizes, 8 Second Prizes, 12 Third Prizes, 32 Encouragement Prizes and 2 typical characters in the 2 Second Prize winning works.

Sharing at the press conference, journalist Trieu Ngoc Lam - Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper emphasized that the entries showed the clear maturity of the education journalism team, from the way of choosing topics, processing data, to modern, multimedia presentation methods.

Many series of articles have reflected current issues of the industry. The quality of the works is consistent, the gap between central and local press is narrowed. Many works are authentic, touching, touching, demonstrating the dedication of reporters, and have a high impact on society.

Mr. Lam said that compared to previous seasons, the number of participating units has decreased due to the consolidation and merger of press agencies, but the number of articles submitted to participate is still diverse and rich, spanning from North to South.

The 2025 National Press Awards Ceremony "For the Cause of Vietnamese Education" will take place at 8:00 p.m. on November 14 at Au Co Theater (Hanoi).
