Nearly 70 students attended the training course on theory and criticism of literature and art in Lai Chau province in 2025.

Trainees attending the training course include officials and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; officials and civil servants of the Provincial Political School; reporters and editors of press agencies; literature teachers of high schools and middle schools in Doan Ket and Tan Phong wards; officials, civil servants, members and collaborators of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.

Comrade Pham Van Hai - Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Speaking at the opening of the training course, comrade Pham Van Hai - Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association hoped that through the training course, lecturers and students would have open exchanges about knowledge and experiences about works and the vibrant cultural and artistic life of the country in general and Lai Chau province in particular, thereby contributing to spreading the beautiful values of ethnic cultures.

Through the training course, it is an important opportunity to help trainees update new knowledge, share practical experiences, contribute to fostering professional knowledge, consolidate professional foundation, and create conditions for staff in the whole system to better meet task requirements in the current context of innovation and integration.

At the training class, students were directly discussed by lecturers who are Associate Professors, Doctors, and Critics of the Vietnam Writers Association on 4 topics including: The Party's cultural guidelines, theory and practice of art; scientific and artistic values in works of professional literary and artistic theory and criticism; cultural criticism from life and cultural experiences; current situation of prose: Landscape and problems.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Thien discussed the topic of the Party's cultural line, art theory and practice at the training class.

As planned, the training course will end tomorrow (November 26). Students will receive a certificate of completion of the 2025 training course on literary and art criticism theory.
