Nearly 830 tons of famine relief rice were distributed to localities affected by natural disasters.

The Department of Health has just established two working groups to receive and hand over 828.12 tons of rice to help people in Tuy Hoa ward, Phu Yen ward and Xuan Loc, Phu Hoa, Hoa Thinh, Dur Kmal, Ea Na, Hoa Son, Yang Mao and Cu Pui communes affected by natural disasters and floods.

It is known that according to the Plan of the People's Committee of Dak Lak province on allocating rice from the national reserve to relieve hunger for people in localities affected by natural disasters and floods (phase 3), in addition to the above localities, Dong Hoa ward, Phu Hoa 2, Tay Hoa, Xuan Lanh and Tuy An Bac communes are also supported with rice to relieve hunger.

A total of 1,971,975 tons of rice will be delivered from November 30 to December 2. Tuy An Bac commune alone will receive 270 tons of rice after storm No. 15 ends.

In this support period, the Department of Health is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the State Reserve Department of Region XII to agree on the time and location for receiving and delivering national reserve rice to support localities in accordance with the actual situation; at the same time, guiding localities to receive and distribute it promptly and in accordance with regulations; organizing inspection, supervision, synthesis and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee.
