The project sign "Women's Tree Road" was installed.

To welcome the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, term 2026-2031, on the morning of May 7th, in Gia Tuong commune, the Provincial Women's Union held a ceremony to unveil the plaque for the "Women's Tree-lined Road" project.

Delegates unveiled plaques commemorating the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union, for the 2026-2031 term.

Attending the program were Comrade Dao Thi Hoa, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union ; representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; leaders of Gia Tuong commune ; and a large number of members, women, and people from the villages where the projects are located .

Following the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, the Provincial Women's Development Support Fund and the Gia Tuong Commune Women's Union coordinated the construction of the "Women's Tree Road" project . After surveying the area and selecting the inter-village road including Hien Quan, Phu Thinh, and Phu Cuong in Gia Tuong commune , the "Women's Tree Road" project was started from March 20th to April 24th, 2026, with items including: clearing the ground, collecting garbage, weeding, digging holes , etc. After the construction period , the project of planting 100 crape myrtle trees along a total length of 1 km was completed . The trees were planted according to proper techniques , suitable for the landscape, providing shade and green space.

At the event, delegates performed the tree-planting ceremony and unveiled the plaque for the "Women's Tree-Planting Road" project. After planting and unveiling the plaque, the project was handed over to the officials and members of the Women's Association of Gia Tuong commune for direct management and care.

This is a practical project undertaken by female cadres and members in the province to celebrate the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the 14th National Congress of the Vietnam Women's Union , term 2026-2031 . It also aims to improve the environmental landscape , further raise awareness among female cadres, members , and the public about environmental protection , the role and benefits of planting trees in residential communities , and create a bright, green, clean, and beautiful environment in the area.
