GENfest 2025's newly announced lineup has caused controversy.

After many weeks of 'hinting', the music event GENfest Presents MBILLION 2025 announced the full lineup on the evening of November 13. This announcement quickly created a wave of fierce controversy in the fan community.

On the evening of November 13, on GENfest's Facebook page, the official full lineup was announced.

According to information from the organizers, this year's GENfest Presents MBILLION brings together artists including Low G, HIEUTHUHAI, B Ray, Phap Kieu, JSOL, RHYDER.

The show took place on November 22 at SECC (HCMC), promoted as "a new generation music experience and fandom connection platform". Ticket prices range from 780,000 VND for Vibe Pass to over 2.5 million VND for VIP Seating.

However, immediately after the full lineup was announced, most comments on social media expressed disappointment. Fan groups like Genfesters and ticket exchange groups uploaded a series of "ticket pass" posts.

Many people think that this year's price is higher but the program content is less attractive, when the number of artists is significantly less than last season: "This year's ticket is more than 700,000, but this is how much you get? It's the most valuable festival, so what's the point?", "There are no surprises here, GENfest is tripping over itself".

Some opinions say that the announcement of the line-up too close to the show date leaves the audience with few options, and even suspect that this is a "tactic to avoid public opinion storm": "No wonder the line-up was announced so close to the show date, if it was announced too early, they would have been cursed crazy".
