Enrolling 95 excellent valedictorians in the Capital's traditional Golden Book

The event is the highlight in a series of activities to honor outstanding faces of the capital's youth, while affirming Hanoi 's tradition of respecting talented people.

This year, 95 excellent valedictorians from the fields of engineering, economics , management - culture - society, pedagogy, medicine - pharmacy and armed forces were honored to be listed. These are all students with outstanding achievements, many of whom are young party members, "5 Good Students", owners of scientific research projects that won national and international awards, or examples of overcoming difficulties to rise up with many creative initiatives in studying and life.

Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Nguyen Tien Hung said the registration ceremony was a respectful tribute to the valedictorians, the “golden seeds” who are sowing the seeds for the future of the country. The Secretary of the Youth Union emphasized that the title of excellent valedictorian is not only a brilliant milestone in the student life but also opens a new journey, requiring intelligence, courage and responsibility to the community and the capital.

The Secretary of the City Youth Union hopes that the valedictorians will continue to nurture their ambitions, maintain their spirit of learning and desire to contribute. “You are typical representatives of the young generation of the capital today – the generation that dares to dream, dares to act and is ready to take on the responsibility of building a more prosperous, civilized and modern Hanoi.”

According to the Organizing Committee, this year's commendation program takes place over two days, November 13-14, with many meaningful activities: the Commendation Ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, incense offering at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, exchanges between valedictorians and students of Chu Van An High School, and the registration ceremony at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam.
