World silver prices turned down after a short recovery
At the opening of the Asian session on November 14, spot silver prices initially increased slightly but quickly retreated to the area above 52 USD/ounce. After many sessions of increase, selling pressure reappeared, causing silver prices to decrease by 0.972 USD/ounce, equivalent to 1.82% compared to the same time the previous day. By 8:30 a.m., silver prices edged up to 52.680 USD/ounce, up 0.39 USD/ounce compared to the opening.
Despite the strong volatility, the general trend is that silver prices are under pressure after the acceleration at the beginning of the week.
Silver has been rising in tandem with gold in recent days, buoyed by safe-haven flows and recovering industrial demand. However, this morning’s sharp correction suggests the market is lacking consensus. As the US reopens after a period of paralysis and prepares to release new economic data, expectations of a December Fed rate cut are still supporting silver.
Lower interest rates could weaken the US dollar, providing further support for silver prices in the near term. However, global economic stability and easing US-China tensions could see silver prices slow down in the short term.

After a series of strong increases, Phu Quy silver prices have turned around and dropped sharply, falling below the threshold of 2.1 million VND/tael. In the international market, silver prices also weakened last night, showing that cautious sentiment is dominating the market while waiting for US economic data and new signals from the Fed.
