Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of July 1, 2025

On the morning of July 1, the domestic coffee market maintained its upward momentum, increasing by 300 VND/kg in all localities, fluctuating between 94,200 - 94,500 VND/kg. Compared to the beginning of last week, the domestic coffee price is currently 2,900 - 3,200 VND/kg higher, but still far from the peak in April 2025 when the price reached 129,300 - 130,200 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the international market fluctuated in opposite directions, Robusta increased slightly while Arabica decreased.

According to experts, coffee prices increased slightly today, supported by demand for restocking, but the market is still under pressure from large supplies in Brazil and the prospect of output recovery in Vietnam.

Short-term forecasts suggest prices may continue to fluctuate within a narrow range, with no signs of a strong rally yet.

In the current context, experts say the outlook for coffee prices this week remains challenging. Global coffee production is forecast to remain high, especially from Brazil, causing continued oversupply pressure. Meanwhile, global coffee demand has yet to show clear signs of recovery, due to the impact of rising prices and weak purchasing power in many major consumer markets.

Technical factors are also not in favor of the uptrend, as technical indicators show that the downtrend is still dominant. On the positive side, the US dollar is on a weakening trend, which could support a slight recovery in coffee prices if exports accelerate. However, these supporting factors are not strong enough to create a new bullish cycle in the short term.

According to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), global coffee production in the 2025/2026 crop year is forecast to increase by 4.3 million bags compared to the previous year, to a record 178.7 million bags, thanks to the continued recovery in Vietnam and Indonesia along with a record high output in Ethiopia.
