Domestic coffee prices fell sharply at the beginning of the session.
Coffee prices today, November 14, 2025, dropped sharply across the Central Highlands, bringing the purchasing level down to only 111,500 - 113,500 VND/kg.
Lam Dong was most affected when coffee prices dropped by VND5,800/kg, trading at VND111,500/kg in Di Linh, Bao Loc and Lam Ha.
Coffee prices in Dak Lak also fell sharply, with Cu M'gar area at 113,500 VND/kg, while Ea H'leo and Buon Ho were around 113,400 VND/kg.
Dak Nong decreased by 4,500 VND/kg to 113,500 VND/kg and Gia Lai decreased by 5,000 VND to an average of 113,000 VND/kg.

Coffee prices fall due to new tax commitments from the US
According to expert Nguyen Quang Binh, coffee prices plummeted after the US President reaffirmed his plan to reduce coffee import taxes.
The US Treasury is also expected to announce its policy in the next few days, leading the market to believe that coffee prices entering the US will drop significantly. This sentiment has caused traders to increase sales to reduce inventories and prepare to buy back at lower coffee prices. The widespread sell-off has caused international coffee prices to drop sharply in just one trading session.
Coffee prices in the US rose nearly 21% in August compared to the same period last year, partly due to high import tariffs on supplying countries: Brazil is taxed at 50%, Vietnam at 20% and Colombia at 10%. The US imports more than 99% of the coffee it consumes, so any changes in tariffs directly impact domestic coffee prices. According to UN Comtrade, Brazil accounts for 30.7% of coffee imported into the US, Colombia accounts for 18.3% and Vietnam for 6.6%.
World coffee prices fluctuate in opposite directions.
On the London floor, the price of robusta coffee futures for January 2026 increased slightly by 0.5% to $4,392/ton, while the price for March 2026 futures reached $4,303/ton.
Meanwhile, the New York floor recorded arabica coffee prices down 0.4% to 402 US cents/pound for December 2025 delivery and down 0.44% to 374.95 US cents/pound for March 2026 delivery.
In the previous session, international coffee prices fell sharply: Arabica lost more than 4.5% to 8,898 USD/ton and Robusta fell nearly 5.5% to 4,366 USD/ton, reflecting the cautious state of investors.
StoneX forecasts that Brazil’s coffee production in 2026–2027 could reach 70.7 million bags, up 13.5% from the previous season. Arabica is forecast to increase to 47.2 million bags, while robusta is forecast to decrease to 23.5 million bags.
However, MXV believes that this forecast is still fraught with risks due to the highly volatile weather in Brazil. Actual Brazilian supplies are still significantly reduced, with October exports reaching 4.14 million bags, down 20% compared to last year.
Accumulated from January to the end of October, Brazil exported 33.28 million bags, 20.3% lower than the same period in 2024, thereby playing an important role in reducing the decline in coffee prices.
