In the world market, the price of this commodity is increasing well.

At the time of the survey, the RSS3 price at the TOCOM Commodity Exchange (Tokyo) for delivery in December 2025 increased by 3 yen (equivalent to 0.9%) to 343 yen/kg.

Meanwhile, the price of rubber futures for December 2025 in Thailand increased by 0.81 baht (or 1.2%); reaching 69 baht/kg. Meanwhile, in China, the price of this commodity for January 2026 delivery increased slightly by 40 yuan (or 0.3%); reaching 15,455 yuan/ton.

The Japanese market maintained its upward momentum due to concerns about a decline in supply in Thailand, and Tires Europe Group recently called for regulatory amendments to the European Commission's proposals related to the rubber industry.

The implementation of the EUDR is at risk of further delays due to the EC’s recent “simplification” measures, according to Secretary General Adam McCarthy. At the Future Tire 2025 conference in Prague, he said several countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Austria, are proposing to activate a “pause” mechanism to delay the implementation of the EUDR until December 2026.

McCarthy said the tyre industry is already “upstream” ready to fully meet the requirements for a deforestation-free supply chain. However, the EC needs to issue more specific guidance and improve its IT systems to handle large volumes of data.

Notably, the EC also proposed a “simplified procedure” for the declaration of determination (DDS) because the IT system did not meet the requirements. Sharing only the DDS number instead of transmitting the entire data along the value chain was assessed by Tyres Europe as creating a logistical burden without bringing clear benefits.

Since 100% of the natural rubber used in the tyre industry is imported, Tyres Europe has proposed that the EC centralise controls at the first point of entry to reduce complexity along the entire chain. McCarthy stressed that at the current pace, a delay in the implementation of the EUDR is almost inevitable.

The latest price quote of Phu Rieng Rubber Company fluctuates at 390 VND/DRC for mixed latex and 420 VND/TSC for water latex.

At Binh Long company, the price of this item at the factory is 422 VND/TSC, at the production team it is 412 VND/TSC; and the price of 60% DRC mixed latex is 14,000 VND/kg.
