This gift aims to support medical facilities with limited equipment, especially to help detect early and effectively manage digestive diseases in the community, improve the quality of treatment, bring practical benefits to the people, and contribute to reducing the burden on upper-level facilities.
In addition, the program also hopes to become a bridge to promote professional cooperation, training and technology transfer between levels, contributing to building an increasingly sustainable and developed grassroots health system.

Professor Dao Van Long's family donated machines to hospitals.
The digestive endoscopy system donated this time is equipped with advanced optical and image processing technology developed by Fujifilm (Japan), with high-resolution images combined with narrow-band light endoscopy (LCI, BLI), helping to clearly display the structure of the mucosal surface and blood vessels, thereby helping doctors detect lesions well, especially useful for early-stage digestive tract cancer.
The 10 donated general hospitals include: Ba Vi General Hospital (Hanoi), Binh Duong General Hospital (HCMC), Hoang Hoa General Hospital (Thanh Hoa), Bac Quang Tri Regional General Hospital (Quang Tri), Nga Bay Regional General Hospital (Can Tho), Lam Dong General Hospital (Lam Dong), Cao Bang General Hospital (Cao Bang), Quang Ngai 2 General Hospital (Quang Ngai), Vinh Long General Hospital (Vinh Long) and Viet Tiep Friendship Hospital (Hai Phong).
Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management ( Ministry of Health ), Vice Chairman of the National Medical Council, expressed his appreciation for the gesture of Professor Dao Van Long's family in contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment in localities.
Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Thi Thu Huong, Chairwoman of the Hanoi Medical University Council, on behalf of the school, respectfully thanked Professor Dao Van Long and his family for always devoting their enthusiasm and attention to the health system from the central to local levels, especially the district levels with many difficulties, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.

Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health), Vice Chairman of the National Medical Council spoke.
In his speech at the ceremony to present equipment to medical facilities, Professor Dao Van Long, on behalf of his family, expressed his family's wish to express gratitude to colleagues and people in localities with difficulties in medical care with a practical gift - a modern digestive endoscopy system, which can contribute to improving the capacity to diagnose, intervene and treat gastrointestinal diseases, thereby bringing direct benefits to the people.
At the same time, a training course on knowledge and practice of endoscopy for about 50 doctors and technicians at hospitals receiving the machine, trained by experts from Hanoi Medical University Hospital and the Institute of Research and Training of Digestive and Hepatobiliary, was also organized. The training course aims to help further improve the technical aspects: unifying the way to use the machine, pre-anesthesia, sterilization process and assessing lesions on endoscopy.
In addition, Professor Long's partner unit also established a professional cooperation network between hospitals through a consultation and distance training system in the field of gastrointestinal endoscopy. This connection is expected to create conditions for grassroots doctors to regularly exchange experiences, improve capacity and form a sustainable in-depth research network.

Professor Dao Van Long (former Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital) spoke.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Ly Thi Bach Nhu - Director of Cao Bang General Hospital expressed her gratitude to Professor Long and his family for their attention and sharing in the health care work of many localities, including the people of Cao Bang province, through the donation of modern endoscopy equipment.
