This is also a "shield" that helps prevent violence, is a solid foundation for the comprehensive development of the young generation, and maintains peace in the community.

Overcoming difficulties, building a home

After more than 12 years of marriage, Major Lai Van Quang (Internal Intelligence Assistant, Professional Department, Border Guard Command of Dong Nai Province) and his wife Le Hai Yen (teacher at Dak Lua Kindergarten, Dak Lua Commune) still cannot be together often because of their work conditions in different places.

Major Lai Van Quang shared: He was born and raised in Dak Lua commune, and Yen was born and raised in Chon Thanh ward. When Quang was a student at the Border Guard Academy (based in Hanoi), Yen was a student in Hanoi, the two met and fell in love with each other. After graduating, Quang worked at the Border Guard Command of Dong Thap province with the task of patrolling, managing, protecting and fighting against all kinds of crimes on the border. In 2019, he transferred to the former Border Guard Command of Binh Phuoc province, now the Border Guard Command of Dong Nai province.

Before getting married, Mr. Quang participated in the mission of arresting cigarette smugglers. During the mission, he was attacked by the subjects with bamboo sticks and boat paddles, causing him to break his arm, injure his head, and suffer a permanent disability of 26%. The precious thing is that although he is a war invalid, his wife's love for him has not changed. In 2013, they decided to live together. After getting married, they each worked in different places, only seeing each other for 1-2 weeks, sometimes 3-6 months. The most difficult period was when she gave birth to twin girls 11 years ago. However, it was love, care, and sharing that helped them overcome difficulties to build a happy home.

With the viewpoint: "No matter how busy work is, as long as we look to each other, family will always be a peaceful place to return to" has helped the family of Ms. Nguyen Thanh Tam and Mr. Hoang Van Hanh (in Binh Long ward) overcome difficulties, together continue to write their love story and a happy marriage. Ms. Tam said: She is a preschool teacher, and he is a prison warden. His job is quite special, so he is often away from home. Everything at home, taking care of, picking up and dropping off, and teaching the children is mainly managed by her. Sometimes she feels tired when working hard from 5am until late at night every day, but thinking about the difficulties, hardships, and even dangers of his work has given her more motivation to manage everything, helping him feel secure at work.

Through the stories of typical young families, it is shown that it is the difficulties and challenges that help family members understand each other better, bond together and work together to build a warm home - a place where everyone always feels peaceful and happy when returning.

Connecting and spreading good values in young families

Mr. Thi Hoang Trung, Permanent Vice President of the Youth Union of Dong Nai province, said: In modern society, with the characteristics of work, study, and especially since the presence of technological devices, the internet and social networks, the connection between family members has become increasingly loose, which more or less affects the good values in the family.

My family is very lucky and proud to be selected by the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union to be recognized as an Outstanding Young Family in 2025. This is not only a recognition but also a motivation for my family to continue to strive, promote, and contribute to the overall development of society.

Major LAI VAN QUANG , Assistant of Internal Reconnaissance, Professional Department, Border Guard Command of Dong Nai province

With the role of guiding and guiding the young generation, in recent years, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union have maintained the selection and commendation of outstanding young families. In addition to the age criterion of not exceeding 35 years, outstanding young families selected for commendation must also meet the following criteria: exemplary compliance with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; harmony, happiness, progress; mutual support and assistance to everyone in the community; active participation in local emulation movements; enthusiasm for social work and community activities. In addition, outstanding young families also strive to overcome difficulties to build a prosperous, harmonious, happy and progressive life; and perform well the role of caring for, protecting and educating their children...

Compared to previous years, this year, in addition to the commendation ceremony, families also have the opportunity to experience activities at the Vietnamese Identity Experience Area (in Chon Thanh Ward). “Through this activity, the Organizing Committee hopes to create opportunities to connect members of each outstanding young family and among outstanding young families. Through this, families can exchange experiences in building happy families and raising good children” - Vice President of the Provincial Youth Union Thi Hoang Trung said.

Ms. Le Thi Hue, a teacher at Phu Huu Primary School (in Dai Phuoc Commune) said: Her husband works at Brigade 167, Naval Region 2, so he has little time for his family (except when he is on leave). It is difficult to have a trip together, and it is even more difficult to participate in experiential activities. Therefore, when the family was selected to be recognized as an outstanding young family and to participate in experiential activities, the family members were very much looking forward to it. Not only did the experience help strengthen the bond, her family also had more beautiful memories and especially had the opportunity to meet and interact with many families in the wards and communes of the province. "I hope that the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union will continue to maintain these activities so that more families can participate, experience and have more material to continue writing the journey of building family happiness" - Ms. Hue expressed.
