Pig price today, November 12: A slight decrease was recorded in many northern provinces, while the Central Highlands and the South only saw scattered decreases in a few localities.

Pig price today in the North decreased slightly in many places

The price of live pigs in the North this morning recorded a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in many provinces and cities.

Specifically, pig prices in Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Hanoi , Dien Bien, Son La and Hung Yen all decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 48,000 VND/kg. With the same decrease, Lao Cai and Lai Chau lowered their purchasing prices to 47,000 VND/kg.

Other localities such as Thai Nguyen, Lang Son , Ninh Binh remain stable at 48,000 VND/kg.

Only Phu Tho, Hai Phong and Bac Ninh still maintain the highest regional level of 49,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the North fluctuates from 47,000 VND/kg to 49,000 VND/kg.

Pig prices today in the Central Highlands and Central regions decreased sporadically.

In the Central Highlands region, the price of live pigs this morning decreased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg in some localities.

Specifically, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa both adjusted down 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 47,000 VND/kg.

Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Quang Ngai and Gia Lai localities continue to maintain the level of 47,000 VND/kg.

Da Nang maintains the price at 48,000 VND/kg; Lam Dong alone still has the highest price in the region at 49,000 VND/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands today fluctuates from 47,000 VND/kg to 49,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the South today slightly decreased

The Southern live hog market this morning recorded a slight decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in two provinces.

Specifically, An Giang and Ca Mau both decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 49,000 VND/kg and 50,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Dong Nai, Tay Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City still maintain the price at 50,000 VND/kg; Dong Thap and Can Tho are stable at 49,000 VND/kg; while Vinh Long continues to maintain the lowest price in the region at 48,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the South is commonly around 48,000 - 50,000 VND/kg.
