Pork market and worrying diseases

In Ho Chi Minh City, the amount of pork arriving at wholesale markets remains stable, but retail pork prices continue to cool down. Some products such as pork belly, lean pork, and boneless pork legs recorded a price decrease of 140,000 - 220,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, in Lang Son, African swine fever has caused more than 7,000 pigs to be culled. Although the situation has been basically brought under control, authorities still require farmers to increase vaccination and comply with biosecurity measures to prevent a recurrence.
