Pig price today December 2: Increasing trend in all three regions, in which the North set a new peak with the highest pig price in the country at 57,000 VND/kg.

Northern live pig price today: Peak of 57,000 VND/kg

The price of live pigs in the North this morning (December 2) increased sharply in many places. The highest recorded price was 57,000 VND/kg and the lowest price was 54,000 VND/kg.

In particular, the price of pigs in Tuyen Quang and Phu Tho increased by 3,000 VND/kg, bringing the purchase price to 57,000 VND/kg. The provinces of Thai Nguyen, Lang Son and Hai Phong increased by 2,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 56,000 VND/kg, 55,000 VND/kg and 57,000 VND/kg, respectively.

Localities such as Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh , Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien all increased by VND1,000/kg, with prices ranging from VND54,000 - VND57,000/kg.

Pig price in Central Highlands: Slight increase locally

The Central Highlands region recorded slight fluctuations, mainly increasing by VND 1,000/kg, fluctuating between VND 51,000 - 56,000/kg.

Specifically, pork prices in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An increased slightly by 1,000 VND/kg, currently being purchased by traders at 56,000 VND/kg.

In localities such as Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong, pork prices have all increased by VND1,000/kg, currently at VND55,000/kg. With the same increase, Ha Tinh raised the purchase price to VND54,000/kg.

Meanwhile, Quang Tri and Hue continue to maintain the price at 51,000 VND/kg. Da Nang, Gia Lai and Quang Ngai keep the price at 53,000 VND/kg.

Pig price in the South: Continues to increase

The Southern live hog market on December 2 continued to record an upward trend in many provinces and cities. The South recorded the lowest pork price of 53,000 VND/kg, the highest price of 56,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, pork prices in Dong Nai, Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City increased by 1,000 VND/kg, bringing the price to 56,000 VND/kg.

Dong Thap and Vinh Long increased sharply by 2,000 VND/kg, currently trading at 55,000 VND/kg. Can Tho alone increased by 1,000 VND/kg to 54,000 VND/kg.

Meanwhile, An Giang kept the price unchanged at 53,000 VND/kg. Ca Mau's pork price remained unchanged at 54,000 VND/kg.
