Pork price today, December 9, 2025: Prices remain stable.

Today, December 9th, live pig prices nationwide remain stable after several days of adjustments. The general price range is between 57,000 and 61,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Northern Vietnam

Following a price adjustment earlier this week, live pig prices in the northern region remained unchanged this morning. The current trading range in the North is between 59,000 and 61,000 VND/kg.

The provinces of Lang Son, Dien Bien, and Lai Chau maintained the lowest prices in the region, at 59,000 VND/kg. Other provinces and cities such as Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Hanoi traded at the highest price of 61,000 VND/kg. Most other localities, including Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, and Son La, remained at around 60,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Central and Central Highlands regions

Pork prices in provinces and cities in Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands remained unchanged this morning. Pork in this region is being purchased at around 58,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

Nghe An currently has the highest pork price in the region, reaching 61,000 VND/kg. Conversely, the lowest price of 58,000 VND/kg was recorded in Hue, Da Nang , Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Khanh Hoa. Other provinces such as Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Ngai, and Lam Dong maintained common prices ranging from 59,000 VND/kg to 60,000 VND/kg.

Pork prices in Southern Vietnam

Pork prices in the Southern market also continued to remain stable, following the general trend nationwide, staying within the range of 57,000 - 62,000 VND/kg.

Dong Nai currently has the highest price in the region, reaching 61,000 VND/kg. Following closely are Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City with live pig prices at 60,000 VND/kg. Other localities, including Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang , and Can Tho, are trading mainly at 57,000 VND/kg and 58,000 VND/kg.

In summary, after several days of fluctuations, the live pig market across all three regions has uniformly maintained stable prices this morning. Surveys show that live pigs nationwide are being bought and sold at around 57,000 - 61,000 VND/kg.

Prices for chilled and fresh pork continue to remain stable.

For the retail market, the price of chilled pork from Meat Deli at WinMart remained unchanged, ranging from 119,922 to 163,122 VND/kg. All products were discounted by 20% as part of the supermarket's promotional program. Ground pork was the cheapest at 119,922 VND/kg. Other popular products such as pork loin, pork shoulder, and boneless pork leg were priced at 122,320 VND/kg, 126,320 VND/kg, and 127,922 VND/kg respectively.

Ha Hien Fresh Food Company also noted that pork prices remained stable this morning. Pork products sold there ranged from 69,526 to 160,592 VND/kg. Pork fat was the lowest priced product, at 69,526 VND/kg. Pork shoulder, pork leg, and minced pork were priced at 102,857 VND/kg, 104,762 VND/kg, and 114,286 VND/kg respectively.
