Gia Lai has nearly 15,000 business households subject to conversion from lump-sum tax to declaration.

(GLO)- With the message "60 days of action - Substantive transformation - Raising the level of business households in declaration, transparency and modernity", Gia Lai Provincial Tax is implementing a peak period of propaganda and support for business households to convert their tax model from lump-sum tax to declaration.

Up to now, Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department has established a tax collection management system for 74,584 business households, of which 3,387 households pay taxes by declaration method and 35,029 households pay taxes by lump-sum method.

According to statistics, the whole province has nearly 15,000 business households (revenue over 200 million VND/year) that are subject to switching to self-declaration and self-payment of taxes from January 1, 2026.

With the message "60 days of action - Substantive transformation - Raising the level of business households to declare, be transparent and modern", Gia Lai Provincial Tax Department has issued a plan to implement Decision No. 3352/QD-CT of the Tax Department promulgating a plan for 60 peak days of converting the model from lump-sum tax to declaration for business households.

The peak period for implementing the plan to propagate and support business households in Gia Lai province starts from November 1 to December 30, 2025. The goal is for 100% of business households subject to conversion to have access to information and receive support from tax authorities; ensuring that households apply the method of self-declaration and self-payment of taxes from January 1, 2026.
