The animals released include mountain tortoises, pythons, pig-tailed macaques, red-faced macaques, long-tailed macaques, yellow mountain tortoises (all in group IIB), heron birds, and Java pangolins (all in group IB); voluntarily handed over to the authorities by individuals and organizations. The release location is within the forest area managed by Kon Ka Kinh National Park, within the Ayun commune boundary. At the time of release, the health of the animals was in good condition.

The leader of the People's Committee of Ayun commune said that the Kon Ka Kinh National Park forest area has a diverse ecosystem, is well protected, and is a suitable place for wildlife to recover. Releasing animals back into the forest plays an important role in preserving rare genetic resources, and at the same time, improving the effectiveness of biodiversity conservation in the area.
