According to the People's Committee of Gia Lai province, in October 2025, the whole province attracted 17 new investment projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 35,258.61 billion. In the 10 months, the whole province attracted 161 investment projects (reaching 97.6% of the 2025 plan - 165 projects) with a total registered investment capital of VND 113,261.7 billion (147 domestic investment projects with a total registered capital of VND 77,774 billion and 14 FDI projects with a total investment capital of VND 35,487.7 billion).
Some large-scale projects have attracted new investment in recent times, such as the Polyester Fabric Recycling Production Complex Project of Syre Group (Sweden) with a registered investment capital of VND 24,970 billion; Van Canh Wind Power Plant Project in Binh Dinh with a total registered investment capital of VND 5,700 billion; Phu My Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project - Phase 1 with a total registered investment capital of VND 4,569.4 billion...
“This result shows the strong attraction from the province's potential, open policies and determination to accompany businesses, expected to bring positive effects to the local economy in the coming time,” said the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee.
Regarding tourism , although it was a low month, in October, Gia Lai province still welcomed 739,000 visitors, an increase of 18% over the same period in 2024 (of which international visitors were estimated at 7,600; domestic visitors were estimated at 731,400).
In the first 10 months of 2025, Gia Lai province is estimated to welcome 11,390,700 visitors, an increase of 16.8% over the same period in 2024 (of which international visitors are estimated at 105,300, domestic visitors are estimated at 11,285,400). Tourism revenue in the first 10 months is estimated at VND 25,600 billion, an increase of 9.9% over the same period in 2024.
Regarding export turnover in October 2025, Gia Lai province is estimated to achieve 221.1 million USD; in the first 10 months, it is estimated to achieve 2,978.1 million USD, an increase of 23.7% over the same period and exceeding the annual plan by 3.4% (the export plan for 2025 is estimated at 2,880 million USD). The province's key products all have increased export turnover compared to the same period, including aquatic products up 18%; textiles and garments up 16.6%; wood products up 5.8%...
As of November 9, 2025, Gia Lai's total state budget revenue reached VND 23,757.6 billion, reaching 114.6% of the central budget estimate, reaching 98.7% of the provincial People's Council's estimate. Including, domestic revenue reached VND 12,244.7 billion; land use fee revenue was VND 10,550 billion (reaching 139.7% of the central budget estimate); import-export revenue was VND 444.1 billion.
The disbursement rate of public investment capital in Gia Lai province is also higher than the national average (the national disbursement rate is 54.44%) and ranks 10th out of 34 provinces and cities.
Accordingly, as of November 11, 2025, the disbursement value of Gia Lai province is 10,411.11 billion VND; compared to the plan assigned by the Prime Minister, it reached 69.11% (15,063.77 billion VND), compared to the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Council, it reached 54.95% (18,947.84 billion VND)...
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, requested that in the coming time, in addition to focusing on overcoming the consequences of storm No. 13, sectors and localities need to focus on close, drastic and breakthrough direction and management, giving maximum priority to promoting economic growth; determined to exceed the socio-economic development targets set for 2025.
At the same time, relevant local departments, branches and sectors focus on preparing and implementing key projects and works of the province such as the Investment Project to build runway No. 2 and synchronous works at Phu Cat Airport; Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway; High-speed Railway Project on the North - South axis; Phu My Industrial Park; Le Thanh International Border Gate Economic Zone; energy projects and a number of other key projects.
In particular, the Chairman of Gia Lai province especially noted that there would be no further delay and was determined to open Nguyen Van Linh Street in 2025, creating a premise for the synchronous implementation of residential infrastructure along the route.
