Gia Lai attracts 5 new projects, with total registered investment capital of more than 2,834 billion VND

(GLO)- On December 1, Mr. Nguyen Van Chau, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance, said that in November, Gia Lai continued to attract 5 new projects from investors with a total registered investment capital of more than 2,834 billion VND.

In the first 11 months of 2025, the whole province attracted 172 new investment projects, exceeding the target assigned by the Provincial People's Committee by 7 projects. The total capital that corporations and enterprises registered to invest was more than 157,049 billion VND, including 156 projects of domestic investors, with a total registered capital of more than 121,365 billion VND and 16 FDI projects, with a total investment capital of nearly 35,684 billion VND.

In addition, there are 166 projects of investors adjusting to increase investment capital by more than 6,899 billion VND. This shows that the opportunity for sustainable investment development in Gia Lai is huge.

Of the total 172 new investment projects, there are 82 investment projects in the industrial sector; 24 projects in the construction and infrastructure sector; 20 projects in the trade, services and tourism sector; 41 projects in the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector; 5 projects in the real estate and urban economy sector. Regarding the registered investment areas, there are 42/172 projects of corporations and enterprises investing in economic zones and industrial parks; 41/172 investment projects in industrial clusters and 89 projects outside economic zones, industrial parks and industrial clusters.
