As the spring sunshine bathes the fields in golden light, the atmosphere of Tet preparations in the villages and residential areas of Gia Lam commune becomes more vibrant than ever. This year, the leaders of Gia Lam commune have dedicated more time to visiting the grassroots, directly greeting and wishing Tet wishes to the villages, residential areas, and units in the area.

At the village cultural centers – the "heart" of the community – the image of the head of the commune's Party Committee affectionately holding hands with the elderly, inquiring about the preparations for Tet (Lunar New Year) cakes and sweets in each family, has become truly heartwarming. Nguyen Viet Ha, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Gia Lam commune, shared: "Tet is only truly complete when all citizens have enough food, warm clothes, and feel the care of the community."

For medical staff, Tet often means sleepless nights on duty, sacrificing the joy of family reunions to safeguard the health of the community. Understanding this, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Gia Lam Commune Party Committee, Phung Thi Hoai Huong, extended her best wishes and presented the medical team with the most beautiful bouquets of flowers. Ms. Phung Thi Hoai Huong emphasized that the peace and well-being of each family during Tet is significantly contributed to by the dedication of the doctors and nurses.

A firm handshake and words of encouragement to maintain good health so they can better serve the people are invaluable morale boosters. Amidst the characteristic smell of disinfectant, the spring atmosphere seems brighter thanks to the smiles of the medical staff as they feel appreciated by the local leaders. While everyone is busy preparing new clothes to welcome the Lunar New Year, sanitation workers are still diligently working with bamboo brooms and garbage trucks to keep every square meter of the streets clean and beautiful. At the meeting, the Chairman of the Gia Lam Commune People's Committee, Duong Viet Cuong, sincerely praised the silent sacrifices of the workers: "Whether Gia Lam is green, clean, and beautiful or not largely depends on the hardworking hands of you all!"

The Tet gifts presented by the commune leaders were not only material support but also a recognition of the status of ordinary workers. Throughout the series of visits and New Year greetings in Gia Lam, a common thread ran: human kindness.
