Rice prices today December 1, 2025: in the Mekong Delta remain stable, both domestic and export markets remain unchanged in the context of no major fluctuations in demand.

Raw rice prices in the Mekong Delta are stable.

On the morning of December 1, raw rice prices in the Mekong Delta were recorded as stable. According to the update, the prices of exported raw rice fluctuated as follows:

Exported raw rice IR 504: 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg.

Export raw rice OM 5451: 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg.

Dai Thom 8 Rice: 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg.

Finished rice IR 504: Fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Prices of rice varieties in retail markets also remained stable. Of which, Nang Nhen rice was listed at the highest price of 28,000 VND/kg, while regular rice fluctuated at 11,000 - 12,000 VND/kg.

Similar to rice, the price of fresh rice at the field also remained stable, except for IR 50404 (fresh) rice which had a slight increase of 100 VND/kg.

IR 50404 rice (fresh): Increase 100 VND/kg, fluctuates 5,200 - 5,300 VND/kg.

Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh): Fluctuates from 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg.

OM 18 rice (fresh): Fluctuates between 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg.

OM 5451 rice (fresh): Fluctuates between 5,200 - 5,300 VND/kg.

Rice price today December 1, 2025: Exports remain stable

Vietnam's rice export prices are stable, maintaining competitiveness in the international market.

Vietnam's rice export prices are currently stable. According to the Vietnam Food Association, 5% broken fragrant rice fluctuates between 420 and 440 USD/ton, and Jasmine rice fluctuates between 447 and 451 USD/ton.

However, the volume of rice exports in the first 10 months of 2025 showed a decline. Vietnam exported 7.2 million tons of rice, earning 3.7 billion USD. Compared to the same period in 2024, this figure decreased by 6.5% in quantity and nearly 23.8% in value.

The average export price of rice in the first 10 months of 2025 reached 511 USD/ton, down 18.5% over the same period last year. Among the markets, the Philippines is still the largest consumer market with 41.4% market share, followed by Ghana (12.3%) and Ivory Coast (11.3%).
