• OM 380 rice (fresh) is around 5,700 - 5,900 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 6,000 - 6,200 VND/kg. Meanwhile, Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) is fluctuating around 5,600 - 5,700 VND/kg.
• The price of IR 4625 sticky rice (fresh) is at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg; while IR 4625 sticky rice (dried) is at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg. The price of 3-month-old dry sticky rice is trading around 9,600 - 9,700 VND/kg.

• The price of raw rice OM 5451 fluctuates at 7,950 - 8,100 VND/kg; while raw rice OM 18 costs 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg.
• Raw rice OM 380 is priced at 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg (down 100 VND); and finished rice OM 380 is priced at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, raw rice CL 555 is priced at 7,600 - 7,800 VND/kg.

Ba Dinh Cooperative: A bright spot in the innovation of the rice-shrimp model in Ca Mau

Ba Dinh General Agricultural Cooperative (Ben Bao Hamlet, Vinh Loc Commune, Ca Mau Province) is a bright spot in the development of cooperative economy , contributing to increasing income and forming a sustainable value chain for the local rice-shrimp model. On November 12, the Cooperative was honored to attend the 80th Anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment Sector, the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress in Hanoi.

In recent years, Ba Dinh Cooperative has pioneered the application of technology in production and management. All financial and accounting activities have been digitized through Waca software, using digital signatures and electronic invoices, helping to make operations transparent and professional. In production, the Cooperative applies techniques of carpet sowing, machine planting, row sowing, cluster sowing, and uses drones to spray pesticides, reducing costs, protecting the environment and workers' health.

Thanks to innovation, rice productivity increased from 500 kg to 1 ton/ha per crop, rice quality improved. The cooperative built the brand "Ba Dinh Rice - Shrimp", achieved OCOP standards in 2024 and the national Mai An Tiem Award. The cooperative also cooperated with Minh Phu Group to develop an ASC clean shrimp area of ​​more than 390 hectares for export.

Besides business, Ba Dinh is actively involved in the community: contributing 18 million VND to the social security fund, supporting 1.5 million shrimp seeds for poor households, giving 700 notebooks, 60 uniforms, mobilizing 43 blood units and working with the locality to repair more than 1.5 km of rural roads. These efforts help the cooperative become a fulcrum for sustainable development in Vinh Loc commune.
