Vietnam's rice exports maintain stable momentum
Vietnam’s rice export prices today remained unchanged from yesterday. 5% broken rice is currently at $380-$390 per ton. This is a positive sign in the context of Indian rice falling sharply to its lowest level in more than two years due to large inventories and weak demand.
Vietnam still maintains good purchasing power from the Philippines and African markets. At Ho Chi Minh City port alone, in July, it is expected to load and unload more than 256,000 tons of rice for export to major markets such as the Philippines and Malaysia.
