Raw rice prices are stable, many types remain unchanged compared to the weekend.
According to updates from An Giang and Lua Gao Viet, the price of raw rice for export in the Mekong Delta remains at its usual level. OM 5451 rice is purchased at 8,000 - 8,300 VND/kg, Soc sticky rice at 7,300 - 7,450 VND/kg, IR 504 rice at around 7,550 - 7,650 VND/kg.
CL 555 rice remained at 7,340 - 7,450 VND/kg, Dai Thom 8 rice at 8,700 - 8,900 VND/kg, OM 380 traded around 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg and OM 18 fluctuated at 8,500 - 8,600 VND/kg. Finished rice IR 504 remained at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

Rice by-products prices remain stable, transactions are slow.
By-products remain stable. OM 5451 broken rice fluctuates at 7,400 - 7,500 VND/kg, bran price ranges from 9,000 - 10,000 VND/kg.
During the day, transactions in many localities were slow, with low purchasing volume. In Can Tho , warehouses still asked to buy fragrant and sticky rice but prices did not fluctuate. An Giang recorded low purchases by warehouses, focusing on OM 5451 and OM 18.
In Dong Thap (Lap Vo, Sa Dec), low supply of goods has caused little change in rice prices. In An Cu, transactions are small and prices are stable compared to the weekend.
Retail rice prices remain unchanged, many types remain at familiar levels
At retail markets in the Mekong Delta, rice prices remain stable. Nang Nhen rice remains at its highest level of VND28,000/kg. Regular rice fluctuates at VND11,000 - 12,000/kg; Huong Lai at VND22,000/kg; Thai fragrant rice at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg.
Nang Hoa rice is recorded at 21,000 VND/kg, Taiwanese fragrant rice is 20,000 VND/kg, Jasmine is 16,000 - 18,000 VND/kg. Popular white rice varieties, Soc rice, Thai Soc rice and Japanese rice all remain the same price as at the end of the week.
Fresh rice price is stable, supply is not abundant
Regarding rice prices, rice prices in An Giang continue to be stable. Fresh IR 50404 rice is at 5,100 - 5,300 VND/kg, Dai Thom 8 and OM 18 both fluctuate at 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg. Fresh OM 5451 remains at 5,400 - 5,600 VND/kg.
In many localities, the low supply of rice has caused sluggish transactions. Dong Thap tends to buy slowly, traders pay lower prices. In Ca Mau, farmers sell small-scale and prices have changed little. An Giang recorded a slight increase in ST rice, other types of rice prices remained stable but purchasing power decreased.
Can Tho, Vinh Long and Tay Ninh all reported low harvests, slow markets and no significant price fluctuations.
Rice export prices remain stable, Vietnam maintains good competitiveness
In the export market, Vietnam's rice prices continue to be stable. According to VFA, 5% broken fragrant rice is at 420 - 440 USD/ton, 100% broken rice is at 314 - 318 USD/ton, and Jasmine rice remains at 447 - 451 USD/ton.
Vietnam still maintains its competitive advantage in the fragrant and high-quality rice segment, thanks to stable supply and reasonable prices.
