Pepper prices in the world today remain stable. The global pepper market recorded a clear recovery trend when demand from the EU and the US increased steadily again, while China increased spot purchases, creating more pressure on prices.
While consumption in the Middle East remains weak but steady, global buyers continue to closely monitor price increases due to concerns about increasingly tight supplies. A new impetus has emerged since November 14, 2025, when the US officially lifted reciprocal tariffs on a number of agricultural products, including black and white pepper, cinnamon, star anise, ginger and turmeric from Vietnam. This decision is expected to boost imports into the US market in the coming time, especially for highly competitive spices.

In Brazil, pepper prices continued to climb as farmers proactively held onto their stocks, waiting for higher prices, amid the market being affected by the increase in Vietnamese pepper. The price of ASTA 560–570 FOB Brazilian black pepper maintained an upward trend following the general global sentiment, supported by the scarcity of HTST pepper supply – the type processed at high temperatures in a short time. In particular, the HTST 550 g/L line according to EU standards still faced difficulties due to limited processing capacity while demand in Europe increased sharply.
The overall market picture shows that supply is tightening in key producing regions such as Vietnam, Brazil and Indonesia, contributing to the high price level. At the same time, major consuming markets have recorded a marked improvement in demand, further boosted by the US tariff relaxation.
Thus, the world pepper price today, November 25, 2025, remains unchanged compared to yesterday.
