Globally, the latest pepper prices as of December 7th remain unchanged.

Accordingly, the price of Lampung black pepper in Indonesia remained at $6,995 per ton. Meanwhile, the price of Muntok white pepper continued to be pegged at $9,643 per ton.

Malaysian Kuching ASTA black pepper is currently priced at $9,000 per ton, while the country's ASTA white pepper is priced at $12,000 per ton.

For the Brazilian market, ASTA 570 black pepper is trading at around $6,150 per ton.

In Vietnam, the price of black pepper (500 g/l) is trading at US$6,500/ton, while the 550 g/l variety is reaching US$6,700/ton; and the price of white pepper is at US$9,250/ton.

Today's global pepper prices remain stable. This week, the global pepper market showed a downward trend, losing over 2.1% in Malaysia and over 0.4% in Brazil and Indonesia. Only Vietnam's export pepper prices remained unchanged.

Domestically, pepper prices on December 7th remained stable compared to yesterday. Specifically:

  • The price of pepper in Dak Lak today remains at 149,000 VND/kg.
  • The price of pepper in Dak Nong ( Lam Dong province) remains at 149,000 VND/kg;
  • Today, the price of pepper in Gia Lai is being purchased at 147,500 VND/kg.
  • Traders in Dong Nai continue to trade pepper at a price of 147,500 VND/kg.
  • The price of pepper in Ba Ria - Vung Tau (Ho Chi Minh City province) remains around 147,500 VND/kg;
  • Meanwhile, traders in Binh Phuoc (Dong Nai province) are currently trading at 148,000 VND/kg.

Domestic pepper prices remained unchanged today, with the highest price at 149,000 VND/kg. This week, domestic pepper prices fell sharply by another 2,000-3,000 VND.

According to VPSA, in November 2025, Vietnam exported 18,582 tons of pepper, including over 16,000 tons of black pepper and 2,260 tons of white pepper, earning $121.5 million. Compared to the previous month, export volume decreased by 4.4% and value decreased by 6.2%, but still increased by 16.5% and 14.2% respectively compared to the same period in 2024, marking the fourth consecutive month of growth. The average export price of black pepper reached $6,519/ton, a slight increase of 1.2%, while white pepper decreased by 3.8% to $8,072/ton.

Olam Vietnam led sales in the month with 1,981 tons of pepper, followed by Phuc Sinh, Simexco Dak Lak, Haprosimex, and Nedspice Vietnam. The US continued to be the largest market, accounting for nearly 25% of total exports, reaching 4,587 tons. The UAE, China, Germany, and Thailand were the next largest markets, with varying increases and decreases.

Latest domestic and international pepper prices today, December 7, 2025

In the first 11 months of the year, Vietnam exported 225,009 tons of pepper, earning nearly $1.52 billion – the highest level ever. Despite a 4.4% decrease in production compared to the same period in 2024, export value still increased sharply by 24.4% thanks to average export prices of $6,618 and $8,636 per ton for black and white pepper, respectively. The US, UAE, China, India, and Germany continued to be the main markets, with China showing the strongest growth at over 83%.

Therefore, the price of pepper in Vietnam today, December 7, 2025, is trading around 147,500 - 149,000 VND/kg.
