Gold prices rose again as investor concerns eased after US President Donald Trump sent letters to many countries, announcing the tariffs would be imposed and the deadline was postponed until August 1, creating more time for negotiations.
In addition, the gold market is stabilizing its position above the $3,300/ounce mark, thanks to the support from the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) cautious stance in monetary policy. However, according to experts, in the short term, gold prices may have periods of sideways or decline, but in the long term, experts still believe in the potential for this precious metal to increase.
Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, said the core factors that have driven the precious metal to high prices over the past few years have not disappeared, and that new drivers for gold prices could emerge in the second half of 2025.

Gold Price Forecast
Some experts on Kitco said that the gold market needs new fundamental momentum to create a new bullish move. However, there has not yet appeared enough new momentum strong enough for gold to overcome strong resistance levels such as $3,350 and $3,400/ounce.
Investors also bet on many stock markets as the EU and several countries move closer to a trade deal with the US.
However, on the other hand, the commodity financial market may be shaken and the USD may reverse as US President Donald Trump is expected to announce a series of additional tax letters to a number of other countries.
