Meanwhile, the price of DOJI gold bars in Hanoi ended the session on December 1 at 72.3 million VND per tael for buying and 73.5 million VND per tael for selling.

The international spot gold price on Kitco floor at 9:32 p.m. on December 1, Vietnam time was at 2,036 USD per ounce. The gold futures price was at 2,054.5 USD per ounce.

Gold prices today, December 2, on the world market fluctuated little in the last trading session of the week. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices remained high.

On the stock market , in the trading session on December 1, VN-Index increased by 8.03 points, to 1,102.16 points. HNX-Index increased by 0.11 points, to 226.26 points. UPCoM-Index increased by 0.2 points, to 85.19 points.

The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar announced by the State Bank on December 1 was 23,923 VND/USD, up 32 VND compared to the previous day. The USD price at commercial banks on December 1 increased slightly, at the end of the session it was listed around 24,080-24,450 VND/USD (buy - sell).

The world USD price increased on December 1. The DXY index - measuring the strength of the USD against 6 major currencies - at 9:26 p.m. on December 1, Vietnam time was at 103.6 points, up 0.1% compared to the previous session.

Oil prices on the international market continued to slide today, December 2, after the decision to cut production by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies was not as strong as expected. In addition, oil prices fell due to increased crude oil production and oil inventories in the US, the world's leading oil producer. Brent crude oil prices fell to $80 per barrel, while WTI crude oil prices were at $75 per barrel.

In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today, December 2, are applied according to the prices at the management session on the afternoon of November 30 of the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade. Accordingly, gasoline and oil prices are managed in opposite directions of increase and decrease.

Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased to 21,790 VND per liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased to 22,990 VND per liter.

Diesel prices fell to VND20,190 per liter. Meanwhile, kerosene prices rose to VND21,110 per liter.
