The domestic gold ring price jumped 300,000 VND in the opening session this morning (October 30), while the SJC gold price remained unchanged, and the exchange rate at commercial banks simultaneously decreased by 6 VND.

At 9:00 a.m., Phu Quy Company listed the price of 999.0 round gold rings at 88-89.30 million VND/tael, an increase of 300,000 VND.

The price of SJC 9999 gold rings also increased by 300,000 VND per tael, currently trading around 87-88.80 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of plain round gold rings at 87.98-88.98 million VND/tael (buy/sell), unchanged from the previous session's close.

Similarly, the price of SJC gold bars also remained unchanged. Specifically, Doji Company, Phu Quy Company and Saigon Jewelry Company all announced the buying price of SJC gold at VND87.00 million/tael and the selling price at VND89.00 million/tael. In the most recent adjustment (October 22), this brand increased by VND1 million/tael.

In the world, the gold price is trading at 2,780 USD/ounce, a sharp increase of 28 USD/ounce compared to the same time in the previous session. This price when converted is equivalent to 85.30 million VND/tael, about 4 million VND/tael cheaper than the domestic SJC brand.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on October 30 at 24,246 VND/USD, down 6 VND compared to October 29.

With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank, BIDV and VietinBank all listed USD exchange rates from 25,128-25,458 VND/USD, also down 6 VND compared to the previous closing price.

Meanwhile, Eximbank reduced the buying price by 50 VND, while the selling price remained the same. Currently, the bank buys at 25,070 VND/USD and sells at 25,458 VND/USD./.
