The price of SJC 4-digit 9 gold bars was listed in Hanoi at VND71.7 million per tael for buying and VND72.52 million per tael for selling.
Meanwhile, the price of DOJI gold bars in Hanoi closed on November 27 at 71.5 million VND per tael for buying and 72.5 million VND per tael for selling.
The international spot gold price on Kitco floor at 9:13 p.m. on November 27, Vietnam time was at 2,010.4 USD per ounce. The futures gold price was at 2,033 USD per ounce.
Gold prices today, November 28, on the world market continued to increase amid many supporting information for the precious metal. Domestic gold prices stabilized at over 72 million VND per tael.
On the stock market , in the trading session on November 27, VN-Index decreased by 7.55 points, down to 1,088.06 points. HNX-Index decreased by 2.22 points, down to 223.89 points. UPCoM-Index decreased by 0.5 points, down to 84.5 points.
The central exchange rate between the Vietnamese Dong and the US dollar announced by the State Bank on November 27 was 23,947 VND/USD, up 20 VND compared to the end of last week. The USD price at commercial banks on November 27 decreased slightly, at the end of the session it was listed around 24,045-24,415 VND/USD (buy - sell).
The world USD price continued to decline in the first session of the week. The DXY index - measuring the strength of the USD against 6 major currencies - at 9:05 p.m. on November 27, Vietnam time was at 103.28 points, down 0.12% compared to the previous session.
The price of gasoline and oil on the international market today, November 28, has not stopped falling. Oil prices have slid to the mark of 80 USD per barrel.
Oil prices continued to fall as investors waited for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies to reach a deal to limit supply until 2024 later this week.
In the domestic market, the selling prices of gasoline and oil today, November 28, are applied according to the prices of the afternoon session on November 23. Accordingly, the retail prices of gasoline and oil are adjusted down.
Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline decreased to 21,690 VND per liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased to 23,020 VND per liter.
Diesel price dropped to 20,280 VND per liter while kerosene price dropped to 20,940 VND per liter.
