From 3:00 p.m. on August 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance adjusted gasoline prices periodically, gasoline prices increased simultaneously, reaching 24,000 VND/liter.

During this adjustment period, gasoline prices increased across the board. Specifically, RON 95-III gasoline is priced at VND23,963 per liter, up VND1,171 per liter, and E5 RON 92 gasoline is priced at VND22,791 per liter, up VND1,152 per liter.
Prices of petroleum products also increased simultaneously. Specifically, diesel is 20,612 VND/liter, an increase of 1,112 VND/liter. Kerosene has a new price of 20,270 VND/liter, an increase of 1,081 VND/liter, and fuel oil has increased by 806 VND/kg, with a new price of 16,531 VND/kg.
In this operating period, in light of the above-mentioned developments in world oil prices and current regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to set aside the BOG Fund for all oil products; continue not to use the BOG Fund for E5RON92 gasoline, RON95-III gasoline and 180CST 3.5S fuel oil; spend the BOG Fund for 0.05S diesel at VND 400/liter and kerosene at VND 300/liter.
Previously, in the adjustment period on July 21, gasoline prices increased simultaneously. Accordingly, the price of RON 95-III gasoline increased by VND 1,295/liter, up to VND 22,792/liter, E5RON 92 gasoline increased by VND 1,220/liter, up to VND 21,639/liter. Oil prices were also adjusted up, diesel increased by VND 884/liter, up to VND 19,500 per liter; Kerosene increased by VND 869/liter, the selling price is not higher than VND 19,189/liter; Mazut 180CST 3.5S increased by VND 437/kg, up to VND 15,725/kg.
Thus, the price of gasoline has increased for the third consecutive time. Since the beginning of the year, gasoline prices have undergone 21 adjustments, including 11 increases, 7 decreases and 3 times unchanged.
