Fuel Price Stabilization Fund Policy
During this price adjustment period, the regulatory agency decided not to make any contributions to or utilize the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund for all products, including E5RON92 gasoline, RON95 gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and fuel oil. This decision aims to ensure that domestic price fluctuations are consistent with global developments and to maintain a reasonable price difference between E5RON92 bio-gasoline and RON95 mineral gasoline.
Analysis of developments in the global oil market.
According to the inter-ministerial committee, world oil prices from February 5th, 2026 to February 11th, 2026 will be influenced by several geopolitical and economic factors. The average price of refined petroleum products in the world between the two price adjustment periods was recorded as follows:
| Item | Average price (USD/unit) | Variance level (%) |
|---|---|---|
| RON92 gasoline (E5RON92 blend) | 74,780 USD/barrel | +3.25% |
| RON95 gasoline | 76,580 USD/barrel | +3.14% |

| Diesel fuel 0.05S | $87,532 per barrel | +0.25% |

The new prices and changes to the Price Stabilization Fund will take effect from 3:00 PM on February 12, 2026. The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that it will continue to coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect and monitor the responsibility of key petroleum traders in ensuring the supply of petroleum products, and will strictly handle any violations if they occur.
